WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Council sent its annual statement
of changes in the metropolitan system policy plan to the City
of Medina, on April 10, 1989, and
WHEREAS the 1976 Metropolitan Land Planning Act states that
the City of Medina has nine months after April 10, 1989 in
which to review, prepare and submit any necessary amendments,
and
WHEREAS, the City of Medina has been working on said amendments
but finds it will not have them completed within the nine month
time period, now
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City of Medina requests a
six (6) month extension of time for completion of said
amendments.
Adopted by the Council of the City of Medina, this 21 day
of November, 1989.
