A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL SETTING A
TIME AND .PLACE FOR A PUBLIC HEARING. CONCERN-
ING AN APPLICATION FOR AN URBAN DEVELOPMENT
ACTION GRANT.''
WHEREAS, the United States Department of Housing and Urban
Development has been given responsibility of administering the
Urban Development Action Grant (UDAG) Program; and
WHEREAS, the City of Lynwood has been found eligible~to
apply for funds available under the UDAG Program; and
WHEREAS, the City of Lynwood is required to conduct two
public hearings prior to submission of a UDAG application; and
WHEREAS, the City Council on July 15, 1980, passed .a
resolution .authorizing submission of a UDAG application; and
WHEREAS, on August 6, 1980:, the first public hearing con-
cerning the UDAG Application has been scheduled by the Housing
Community and Development Advisory Board;
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved that the City Council .of the
City of Lynwood hereby sets August 19, 1980, as the date for the
second public hearing concerning the City of Lynwood's UDAG appli-
cation to be held in the City Council Chambers.
