RESOLUTION NO. g0-86
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITYGOF
LYNWOOD AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 79-89 REQUIRING
THE FILING OF AN APPLICATION FORM FOR THE INSTALLATION
OF ON-STREET HANDICAPPED PARKING ZONES
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood has
determined that the Medical Doctor's statement in Exhibit "B"
of Resolution No. 79-89, in its present form is much too
~ restrictive, making it virually impossible for most bona
fide hardship cases to qualify for a handicapped parking zone.
NOW, THEREFORE, The City Council of the City of Lynwood
hereby does resolve that the Medical Doctor's statement in
Exhibit "B" of Resolution No. 79-89 is amended to read as follows;
"I testify that the subject, 'disabled person' in this application
constitutes a special hardship case who is unable to travel
more than 50 feet without the assistance of crutches, braces,
walker, wheelchair or other support; and that such condi~tion
is expected to continue for a period of at least 1.y.ear."
