A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITX
OR LYNWOOD DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO CONDUCT
A PUBLIC HEARING TO ASCERTAIN WHETHER A NUISANCE
IS BEING MAINTAINED ON CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY.
WHEREAS, the City Manager of the City if Lynwood has
recommended that this City Council find that a certain premise within
the City of Lynwood may be maintained in such a way as to con~s,titute
a nuisance; and,
WHEREAS, certain procedures are set forth in Chapter 21,
~ - Article -II of the-City Code of the City of Lynwood-, pursuant to - --- ---
which nuisances may be abated;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
DOE5 HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
l. Based upon the aforesaid recommendation of the City Manager,
this Council hereby finds and determines that the following de-
scribed property may be presently being maintained in such a
manner as to constitute a nuisance. Said property is described
as.Lc~ts 68, 69, Modjeska Tract, and is generally known as
,~` 2-95:~ Oakwood:" Avenue.,,- City of Lynwood.
2. mIs°e conditions of said property which may constitute a nuisance
are described as follows:
a. Accumulation of lawn mowers in front and rear yard.
b. Old,lawn mower parts and motors scattered all over
property.
3. The method or methods by which said con.ditions coul.d be abated

a. Remove all lawn mowers from property to proper storage.
b. Any material that is stored in rear yard must be eighteen
inches (18") off the ground.
4. This Council therefore declares its--i:ntention to conduct a public

~^' hearing pur~;urant to,Chapter ,21, Artiele II of the City Code of

tiie'~ `~ity of Lynwood--to ascertain--w~iether the above described
conditions constitute a public nuisance, the abatement of which
is appropriate under the police power of the City of Lynwood.
5. The City Council hereby fixes the hour of 7:30 PM, 5eptember 16,
1980 as the time and the City Council Chambers, 11330 Bullis Road,
as the place for said public hearing; and the City Clerk is
authori.zed and directed to serve and post certified copies of
