AN ORDINANCE, making an appropriation of One Hundred Forty Thousand
Dollars ($140,000.00) from the Operations, Maintenance, Construction, Improvement Fund of
Deer Creek to be used for storm sewer construction in Beaucaire Drive - Mark Drive - Monaco
Drive Storm Sewer (12469) in the City of Warson Woods, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive
Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter
into Contract No. 22232 with Unnerstall Contracting Company, LLC for storm sewer construction.
WHEREAS, the bid for said sanitary sewer construction is One Hundred Seven
Thousand One Hundred Fifty-Seven Dollars ($107,157.00) and the allowance for construction
change orders and other project expenses is Thirty-Two Thousand Eight Hundred Forty-Three
Dollars ($32,843.00); and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of One Hundred Forty Thousand Dollars ($140,000.00) is
hereby appropriated from the Operations, Maintenance, Construction, Improvement Fund of Deer
Creek for storm sewer construction in Beaucaire Drive - Mark Drive - Monaco Drive Storm Sewer
(12469) in the City of Warson Woods, Missouri; said contract being comprised of such terms and
conditions as have been approved by the Office of the General Counsel of the District.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 22232
with Unnerstall Contracting Company, LLC, as the lowest responsible bidder for storm sewer
construction in Beaucaire Drive - Mark Drive - Monaco Drive Storm Sewer (12469) in the City of
Warson Woods, Missouri, pursuant to bids received on the 14th day of December, 2022.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted on February 9, 2023 by the following vote:
