AN ORDINANCE, making an appropriation of One Million Two Hundred
Seventy-Five Thousand Dollars ($1,275,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used
for sanitary sewer construction in Glenfield Sanitaiy Relief (Watson Woods Ct to S Lindbergh
Blvd) (12264) in the City of Sunset Hills, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and
Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract
No. 22224 with Unnerstall Contracting Company, LLC for sanitaiy sewer construction.
WHEREAS, the bid for said sanitaiy sewer construction is One Million One
Hundred Twelve Thousand Twenty-Seven Dollars and Fifty Cents ($1,112,027.50) and the
allowance for construction change orders and other project expenses is One Hundred Sixty-Two
Thousand Nine Hundred Seventy-Two Dollars and Fifty Cents ($162,972.50); and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of One Million Two Hundred Seventy-Five Thousand
Dollars ($1,275,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitaiy Replacement Fund for sanitary
sewer construction in Glenfield Sanitary Relief (Watson Woods Ct to S Lindbergh Blvd) (12264)
in the City of Sunset Hills, Missouri; said contract being comprised of such terms and conditions
as have been approved by the Office of the General Counsel of the District.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 22224
with Unnerstall Contracting Company, LLC, as the lowest responsible bidder for sanitaiy sewer
construction in Glenfield Sanitaiy Relief (Watson Woods Ct to S Lindbergh Blvd) (12264) in the
City of Sunset Hills, Missouri, pursuant to bids received on the 6th day of December, 2022.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted on February 9, 2023 by the following vote:
Ayes - M. Evans, A. Fehr, R. Wilson, G. Nicozisin, B. Wahby, and B Watson
