REQUESTING APPROVAL OF INSERTION OF $75,000 THE 2008
BUDGET REVENUE AVAILABLE FROM THE URBAN ENTERPRISE
ZONE PROGRAM
WHEREAS, NJ.S. 40:4-87 provides that the Director of Local Government Services may
approve the insertion of any special item of revenue in the budget of any municipality when
such item shall have been made available by law and the amount thereof was not detennined
at the time of the adoption ofthe budget, and
'VHEREAS, said Director may also approve the insertion of any item of appropriation for
equal amount.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Borough of Carteret hereby requests the
Director of the Division of Local Government Services to approve the insertion of an item of
revenue in the budget of the year 2008 in the sum of$75,000 which item is now available as a
revenue from the Urban Enterprise Zone Program.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a like sum of $75,000 be and the same is hereby
appropriated under the caption of:
Urban Enterprise Zone Program
$75,000
Adopted this 6th day of November, 2008
and certified as a true copy ofthe original
on November 7th, 2008.
