Resolution No. 11-8259
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF OPA-LOCKA, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE
USE OF RESERVE FUNDS TO PROVIDE TEMPORARY
FUNDING FOR THE SHERBONDY PARK CAPITAL
PROJECT; PROVIDING FOR INCORPORATION OF
RECITALS; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City of Opa-locka has worked extensively to develop a Community
Center for the residents of the City of Opa-locka; and
WHEREAS, the project construction has commenced and in order for construction to
continue funds from the City of Opa-locka's reserve account must be utilized; and
WHEREAS,the funds from the reserve accounts will be utilized on a temporary basis and
returned within the next twelve(12)months to the reserve account with a written notification to the
Mayor and City Commission.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF OPA-LOCKA, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The recitals to the preamble herein are incorporated by reference.
Section 2. The City Manager is hereby authorized to use reserve funds to provide
temporary funding for the Sherbondy Park Capital Project.

Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
