A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD ADOPTING A HOUSING ELEMENT OF THE
GENERAL PLAN AS AMENDED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE
STATE OF CALIFORNIA HOUSING ELEMENT GUIDELINES
WHEREAS,. the City of Lynwood Planning Commission has reviewed
the draft of the Housing Element;
WHEREAS, appropriate opportunities• ,have been. offered to the public
for participation in the~~draftng of the Housing: Element;
WHEREAS, documentation of public-meetings and public hearings of-
fering the citizenry of Lynwood participatory opportunities is on file in,the Planning
.Department 1.`i the City of Lynwood;
WHEREAS, public hearings on the draft ofa the Housng_ Element have
been. eonducted~ in accordance with local ordinances and state requirements;
WHEREAS, an. Environmental Impact Report has been written and
publicly reviewed covering the Housng.Element in accordance with the State of
California Environmental Quality A ct;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the
City of Lynwood does find,. determine, and order as follows:
• Section 1. That the Housing.Element of the General Plan as amended
(a copy of which is attached .hereto and incorporated .herein) is hereby
adopted;
Section 2., That the Environmental Impact Report on the Housing
. Element .has been completed in compliance~with~ California- Environmental
Quality Act and that the Cit`.y°%Council .has reviewed and considered the-
information contained in the Environmental Impact Report.
