RESOLUTION NO 80-98
A RESOLUTION APPROVING AND ADOPTING SUPPLEMENT NO 6 LOCAL
AGENCY - STATE AGREEMENT NO 07-5250, FOR LOCAL AGENCY FEDERAL
BICYCLE GRANT PROGRAM PROJECTS AND APPROPRIATE SAID FUNDS TO
THE 1980-81 BUDGET
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood continually intends
to improve and enhance bicycle safety, and
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has applied for Surface Transportation
Assistance Act funds to implement Project BIKES in the City of Lynwood; and
~
WHEREAS, the $8,000 matching funds for this program are available
in the current law enforcement C1 accourit, and
WHEREAS, the City Council has studied this appropriation and its

budget implications,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Lynwood that ,
Sectiori l. The City Council approves the application for Surface
Transportation Assistance Act funds for the implementation of Project BIKES
Section 2 The City Council Adopts Local Agency-Sfate~Agreement No
07-5250 Supplement No 6 for the use of an educational program - Project BIKES
(Bicycle Information and Knowledge to Enhance Safety) in accordance with Paragraph
2 of Article II of said agreement
Section 3 The City Council hereby authorized the City Manager to
make the following appropriation
