BOROUGH OF CARTERET MUNICIPAL GOVERNMENT
S.H.A.R.E. RESOLUTION FOR FEASIBILITY GRANT TO STUDY
SHARING OF TRUNKED RADIO SERVICES BY 4 MUNICIPALITIES
HEREAS, the State of New Jersey has made SHARE assistance available to assist local units
study, develop and implement new shared and regional services; and
EREAS, the Goveming Bodies of Woodbridge Township, Borough ofCarteret, City of
outh Amboy and City of Perth Amboy have agreed to apply for SHARE (Sharing Available
. esources Efficiently) assistance through the State of New Jersey SHARE Program in the
mount of $25,260.00 to assist with a feasibility study of a new shared service; and,
HEREAS, the'Woodbridge Township Municipal Govermneut has agreed to be the lead agency

HEREAS, the Woodbridge Township Municipal Govermnent is acknowledging and accepting
e responsibility of acting as applicant for this grant on behalf of Borough ofCarteret, City of
outh Amboy and City of Perth Amboy; and
HEREAS, the pmpose of this grant is to conduct a feasibility study to promote shared tnmked
dio services for public safety communications among Borough of Carteret, City of South
boy and City of Perth Amboy and Woodbridge Township, a sharing that would be beueficial
all local units; and
EREAS, all participating municipalities agree to pay equal shares of the 10% cash match
rquired by the SHARE grant; and
krHEREAS, the Borough ofCarteret agrees to execute an Interlocal Services Agreement with
oodbridge Township, City of South Amboy and City of Perth Amboy in order to implement

OW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Goveming Body ofthe Borough ofCarteret
