.."~ '~.'.~A. RESOLUTION OF THE CTTY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNW!JOD
APPROVING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT TO OPERATE APRE-~`;
SCHOOL IN AN R-3 ZONE ON PROPERTY DESCRIBED AS LOT 35,
J. J. BULLIS TRACT NO< 30140, SPECIFICALLY KNOWN .;,~9~5
4301 CAR.LIN AVENUE, LYNWOOD.
. WHEREAS, the City of Lynwood has received an application for a
Conditional Use Permit to allow the •operation of aPre-school on Lot 35,
J. J. Bu11is~Tract No. 30140, specifically known as 4301 Carlin Avenue, .Lynwood,
W~iEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Lynwood, after
giving notice thereof, as required by law, has held and conducted a Public Hearing
concerning said application and, based upon the evidence presented, has adopted
its Resolution No. 700.
WI3ERE_AS, said City Council,:~after providing notice thereof as re-
quired by law, has held and conducted a Public Hearing to consider said applica-
tion and has heard and considered all pertinent evidence presented,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the
City of Lynwood hereby does find, determine, and order as follows:
Section 1. That the use as proposed by the applicants is consistent
with~tYie Municipal Code;
Section 2. That the facility will not adversely impact the residential

- ~ ~ -character of the neighborhood;
.Section 3. That the proposed location of th`e::condtional use and the
t conditions under which it would be operated or maintained will not be
detrimental to the public health, safety, or welfare of the community,
and-the purposes set forth in the General Plan shall be met;
Section 4. That the site for the intended use is adequate in size and
shape to accommodate said use.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, .that the City Council of the City of
Lynwood approves a Conditional Use Permit to allow the operation of aPre-school
at the above-described location subject. to the following stipulations:
1.' That all conditions of the Fire Department regarding protection
from fire hazards be complied with;
2,. That appropriate business licenses be •obtained;
3. That occupancy loads unposed by the City of Lynwood be abided by;
4. That playground facilities be provided on the adjacent lot to the
west;
5. That the site be landscaped and that a .plan indicating the land-
scaping and playground improvements be submitted for approval
by the Planning Department;

6. That occupancy .not be approved until permits are obtained
from the State;
7. -That all conditions of all City Departments be met.
