A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
APPROVING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR JOHN BELL TO
INSTALL A TIRE REPAIR SHOP QN LOT 109, TRACT 5222, SPECI-
FICALLY KNOWN AS 10550 LONG BEACH BOULEVARD, LYNWOOD.
WHEREAS, the City of Lynwood has received an application for a
Conditional Use Permit from John Bell to operate a tire repair shop.at
.10550 Lorig Beach Boulevard, Lynwood;. and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Lynwood, ,after
giving notice thereof as required by law, has held .and conducted a
public hearing concerning said application and, based upon the evidence
presented, has adopted Resolution No. 703; and
WHEREAS, the City .Council; after providing notice thereof as re-
quired by law, has held and conducted a public hearing to consider
said permit and.has heard and considered all pertinent evidence presented;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City
of Lynwood hereby does find, determine, and order as follows:.
Section 1. That there is adequate parking for the amount of
development on .the property; particularly the type of uses
that are proposed;
Section 2. That there will be no adverse effects on abutting
properties for the permitted use thereof;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that said Council grants the application of,
John Bell to .install a tire repair shop at the above-described location,
subject to the following conditions: .
1. That the Conditional Use Permit is granted for six (6)
months (to January 12, 1981);
2. That during .the six-month period. the proponent .will meet
conditions of the Fire Department, Engineering Department,
and the Planning Department;
3. That upon review of the Conditional Use Permit by the
Planning Director (between January l and-January 12, 1981)
it is found that all conditions have been reasonably met,
the. Conditional Use ;Permit shall be automatically extended
.. indefinitely, subject to applicable sections of Ordinance
570., as .amended;
4. That if in the review (ref. item 3 directly above) it is
found that conditions have not been reasonably met, the
Planning Commission will determine the fate of the Con-
. ditional Use Permit.
