AWARDING CONIRACT FOR THE 45-47 WASHINGTON AVENUE COMMERCIAL
STOREFRONT IADDITIONS ALTERATIONS PROJECT
'VHEREAS, the Borough of Carteret Office of Economic Development authorized the
preparation of bid specifications and contract documents and advertisement for receipt of bids for
the 45-47 Washington Avenue Commercial Store Front/Additions Alterations Project; and .
'WHEREAS, Unlimited Construction, 32 White Pine Rd., Jamesburg, NJ 08831, submitted the
lowest bid for said work as evidence by the response on file with the Borough's Purchasing
Department and Office of Economic Development; and
'VHEREAS, the Borough's Law Director has reviewed the above referenced bid proposal and has
recommended an award of a contract for said work to Unlimited Construction; and
WHEREAS, the Director of Economic Development has certified that funds are or will be
available for the award of a contract for said work.
NO\V THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the Borough of Carteret,
County of Middlesex arid State of New Jersey as follows:
1. That the Borough of Carteret and the Office of Economic Development Board
hereby awards the bid for the 45.47 Washington Avenue Commercial Store
Front/Additions Alterations Project in the amount not to exceed S70,150.00.
2. That the appropriate Borough Officials are hereby authorized and directed to
enter into a contract with Unlimited Construction for the 45-47 Washington
Avenue Commercial Store Front/Additions Alterations Project in accordance in
all respects with the request for proposals and bid on the same.
3. That a copy of this Resolution shall be forwarded to the Borough's Purchasing
Department and the Director of Economic Development for distribution to
Unlimited Construction.
