Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved on a motion by Van Deest, seconded by Huisman. Carried. Huisman moved and Heinrich seconded allowance of the following bills for payment: Paul J. Siefken, net salary $447.08 Alfred Krull, net salary 436.32 Henry J. Grobe, net salary 78.51 Paul J. Siefken, three trips to Belmond 45.00 Ackley Quarries, rock 18.81 Auditor of Grundy County, 1972 all night radio service 195.46 Grundy Co. Carried. A motion was made by Hippen, seconded by Fairbanks intro ,cing Ordinance #1002 establishing grades on various streets and avenues in the Town of Wellsburg. Roll call of votes-- Ayes-Huisman, Hippen, Heinrich, Fairbanks, Van Deest Nays -None Absent -None Carried Huisman moved and Van Deest seconded to suspend the rules and pass on the first reading Ordinance #1002 establishing grades on various streets and avenues in the Town of Wellsburg Roll (a11 of votes-- Ayes-Hippen, Heinrich, Fairbanks, Huisman, Van Deest Nays -None Absent -None Carried A motion was made by Fairbanks, seconded by Heinrich, to adopt the resolution authorizing th' Mayor and Town Council to publish legal notices to effect the provisions for the exchange of a tract of land in the north- east corner of Lot 30 owned by the Town of Wellsburg for a tract of land in Section 15 along the northerly line of Emery St. in the Town of Wells- burg owned by Helen Riekena. Roll call of votes-- Ayes-Hippen, Heinrich, Huisman, Fairbanks, Van Deest Nays -None Absent -None Carried 34 On a motion by Huisman, seconded by Fairbanks, the meeting stood adjourned. Mayor Special Meeting --April 16, 1973. The council met in special session on April 30th, with Mayor Eckhoff presiding and all council members present. Purpose of the meeting was for the 2d reading of the resolution for the exchange of certain property by the Town of Wellsburg and Helen Riekena. It was moved by Van Deest, 2d by Huisman, to waive the 2d and 3d readings of the resolution. Carried. Moved by Fairbanks, 2d by Heinrich, to adopt resolution for the transfer of certain property under Ordinance #1003.
