A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD AMENDING RESOLUTION NO: 67-9 DESIGNATING
CERTAIN STREETS WHEREIN PARKING IS PROHIBITED
AT ALL TIMES
WHEREAS, the City Council. of .the City of Lynwood intends
to improve public convenience and safety; and
WHEREAS, 'the Traffic .and Parking Commission and the City
Engineer have determined that Tenaya Avenue between Long Beach
Boulevard and Mariposa Lane is too narrow and too congested for
the safe passing of two-way traffic with parking being'permitted
on both sides of the roadway;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the .
City of Lynwood that:
SECTION l.: That on the following named street in the City
of Lynwood, parking is prohibited on the south side at all times
and the Traffic Engineer .is authorized to erect signs giving notice
thereof: Tenaya~Avenue from Long Beach Boulevard to Mariposa Lane.
APPROVED AND .ADOPTED THIS 7th day of OCTOBER , 1980.
