RE S OLUT ION N0 . 8 0-131
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD AUTHORIZING THE CITY'S PARTICIPATION IN
A CABLE TELEVISION CONSORTIUM WITH THE CITIES OF
PICO RIVERA, SANTA FE SPRINGS, DOWNEY, COMME RCE,
I AND BELL GARDENS
WI~REAS, the City Council adopted a Resolution authorizing a
moratorium on the acceptance of applications for a cable television
franchise for the City and directed staff to study and report back on ~.;^~
the most efficient, effective, and equitable method of soliciting and
eval:uating application, and
WI~REAS, the City Council desires to provide the community with
a reputable cable television service, and '
WI~REAS, staff has submitted a report on said subject, and
WI~ REAS, the City Council has studied said report from staff on
the City's participation in a cable television consortium and approved
same
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby
resolve as follows
The City Manager, or such employees of the City as he may designate,
hereby~isUauthorized and directed to prepare'all documents necessary for the
City of Lynwood's participation in a cable television consortium with the
cities of Pico Rivera, Santa Fe Springs, Downey, Commerce and Bell Gardens
APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 18th day of NOVF.MgFR , 1980
