A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
DENYING A ZONE CHANGE FROM C-2 TO C-3, FOR DAETWEILER TIRE
& AUTO SUPPLY AT 3366-3370 EAST IMPERIAL HIGHWAY, LEGALLY
DESCRIBED AS LOT 166 AND°THE EAST FOUR FEET OF LOT 167,
TRACT 2551.

WHf REAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Lynwood, after=going notice
thereof, as required by law, has held and conducted a Public Hearing concerning said
application and, based upon the evidence presented, has adopted its Resolution No. 705
denying said Zone Change;
- -- WHEREAS; the Lynwood-City Council, pursuant'to }aw, did on October 7, 1980,
hold a public hearing on the application of W. T. Brady, President of Daetweiler Tire
and Auto Supply, Inc., 3351 East Imperial Highway, fora Zone Change from C-2 to C-3
at 3366-3370 East Imperial Highway;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council finds and concludes
that:
Section 1. The proposed change of zone would adversely affect the adjoining
property values and would be detrimental to theaadjacent residential
area .
Section 2. The proposed change of zone would not be in the interest of public
health, safety and general welfare.
Section 3. Approval of said zone change would adversely affect, or not be in
compli.ahce with, the City of Lynwood General Plan.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Council denies the zone change request of
W. T. Brady for property as described above.
