A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF LYNWOOD AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF
AN AGREEMENT WITH CALTRANS RELATING TO THE
SECRETARY OF BUSINESS AND TRANSPORTATION
DISCRETIONARY FUND AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS
THEREFOR.
WHEREAS, on May 20, 1980, the City Council authorized
submission of an application to Caltrans for funds available
under the Secretary of Business and Transportation's Discretionary
Fund; and
WHEREAS, on June 30, 1980, Secretary of Business and
Transportation awarded the City of Lynwood $38,944 to provide two
vans accessible to handicapped persons for use in the Dial-a-Ride
Program..
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved as follows:
1. The Mayor is authorized to execute an agreement with Caltrans
under the Secretary's Discretionary Fund Program.
2. $38,944 is appropriated in the following manner:
