RESOLUTION APPROVING PROPOSED PROGRAM FOR YEAR XVI
URBAN HENNEPIN COUNTY COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT FUNDS
AND AUTHORIZING ITS SUBMITTAL
WHEREAS, the City of Medina, through execution of a Joint Cooperation
Agreement with Hennepin County, is a cooperating unit in the Urban
County Community Development Block Grant Program; and
WHEREAS, the City of Medina has developed a proposal for the use
of Urban County CDBG funds made available to it, following a public
hearing on March 20, 1990, to obtain the views of citizens on local
and Urban Hennepin County housing and Community development needs
and the City's following proposed use of $ 13,488 from the Year XVI
Urban Hennepin County Community Development Block Grant and $
in program related income.

BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Medina approves
the proposed use of Year XVI Urban Hennepin County Community Devel-
opment Block Grant funds and program related income and authorizes
submittal of the proposal to Hennepin County for review by the Urban
Hennepin County Citizens Advisory Committee for inclusion in the
Year XVI Urban Hennepin County Community Development Block Grant
Program Statement of Objectives and Projected Use of Funds.
