WHEREAS the hard work and commitment of volunteers have
made our community a better place in which to live, and
WHEREAS volunteers have been our vital resource, enabling
and guiding our efforts for the benefit of others, and
WHEREAS volunteerism embodies a spirit of giving and spirit
of growth, and
WHEREAS Medina is proud of the efforts of our volunteers,
and believes that their selfless giving has made our comm-
unity a better place in which to live;
NOW,THEREFORE, T, Thomas A. Anderson, Mayor of the City of
Medina, do hereby proclaim the week of April 22-28, 1990,
as VOLUNTEER RECOGNITION WEEK in Medina.
Adopted by the Council of the City of Medina this 3 day
of April, 1990.
