ORDINANCE NO. ' 71 1
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AUTHORIZING AND
DIRECTING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO CONVEY TO THE UNITED STATES OF
AMERICA; GENERAL SERVICES ADMINISTRATION, BY SPECIAL WARRANTY DEED,
PART OF INLOTS 187 AND 188 AND TO TAKE SUCH OTHER STEPS AS MAY BE
NECESSARY TO TRANSFER SUCH PROPERTY.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the Mayor and City clerk are hereby authorized and directed to convey
to the United States of America; General Services Administration, by Special Warranty Deed,
part of Inlots 187 and 188, more particularly described as follows:
BEGINNINGAT THE SOUTHEASTERLY CORNER OF THE SAID INLOT 188; THENCE
N47° 42'15 11W,ALONG THE SOUTHERLY LINE OF SAID INLOTS 188 AND 187,139.19
FEETTO THE SOUTHWESTERLYCORNEROF SAID INLOT 187;THENCEN42° 17'45"E,
ALONG THE WESTERLYLINEOF SAID INLOT 187,154.71 FEET;THENCE S57° 23'15"E,
ON A DIRECT LINE, 141.45 FEET TO A POINT ON THE EASTERLY LINE OF THE
AFORESAID INLOT 188;THENCE S42° 22'35'W,ALONG THE EASTERLY
Section 2. That the Mayor and City Clerk are further authorized to take such other and
further steps as may be necessary to carry out this property transfer, including but not limited
to amending the property description of the portion of the Inlots to be conveyed.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after the date of its
passage and approval.
