AN ORDINANCE, making a supplemental appropriation of Eighty-Five Thousand
Dollars ($85,000.00) from the Districtwide Stormwater Fund to be used for general geotechnical
services in General Services Agreement - Geotechnical (2022) Contract A (13102) at various
locations within the District; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on
behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Amendment No. 1 to Contract
No. 22120 with Reitz and Jens Inc. for general geotechnical services.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 15814, adopted December 9, 2021, appropriated the
initial funding for and authorized Contract No. 22120; and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Eighty-Five Thousand Dollars ($85,000.00) is hereby
appropriated from the Districtwide Stormwater Fund to be used for general geotechnical services
in General Services Agreement - Geotechnical (2022) Contract A (13102) at various locations
within the District.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Amendment No. 1
to Contract No. 22120 with Reitz and Jen Inc. for general geotechnical services in General Services
Agreement - Geotechnical (2022) Contract A (13102) at various locations within the District; and
said contract shall be comprised of such other terms and conditions as are approved by the Office
of the General Counsel of the District.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted on March 9, 2023 by the following vote:
Ayes - M. Evans, A. Fehr, R. Wilson, G. Nicozisin, B. Wahby, and B. Watson
