RESOLUTION NO. 11-8295
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF OPA-LOCKA, FLORIDA, TO AUTHORIZE
THE CITY MANAGER TO CREATE A PROGRAM THAT
WILL ALLOW THE RESIDENTS OF THE CITY OF OPA-
LOCKA, THE OPTION TO PAY THEIR UTILITY BILLS
TO THE CITY OF OPA-LOCKA VIA ONLINE
TRANSACTION; PROVIDING FOR INCORPORATION
OF RECITALS; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Opa-locka desires that the residents of
the City of Opa-locka have the opportunity to transact their utility payments to the City Online;
and
WHEREAS, the Online payment will make it convenient for the residents who opt to
make the utility payments online; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Opa-locka authorizes and directs the
City Manager to create a program for transacting online payment of utility bills for the residents
of the City of Opa-locka.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF OPA-LOCKA,FLORIDA:
Section 1. The recitals to the preamble herein are incorporated by reference.
Section 2. The City Commission the City of Opa-locka directs and authorizes the
City Manager to create a program that will allow the residents of the City Of Opa-locka the
option to transact all utility payments on line to the City of Opa-locka Online.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
