Revenue Property tax of 7 ½
cent ($25/year) for
residential properties
(affordability)
Impervious area rate
for non-residential
(equity)
Together, these will
generate $34
million/year
• 7 ½ cent ad valorem property tax for residential
customers will generate approximately $19 million in
revenue
• Residential customers account for 57% of impervious
area; non-residential customers account for 43%
• Non-residential customers therefore need to generate
43%/57% x $19m, or approximately
$15 million
• Impervious rate for non-residential of $1.05 per 1,000
sq. ft. of impervious surface area (known as Equivalent
Service Unit) will be set to generate $15m in annual
revenue
