Resolution No. 11-8298
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF OPA-LOCKA,FLORIDA,REQUIRING THAT ALL
BOARD MEMBERS ATTEND ETHICS TRAINING
ANNUALLY,DURING THE CALENDAR YEAR,JANUARY
THROUGH DECEMBER; PROVIDING FOR
INCORPORATION OF RECITALS; PROVIDING FOR AN
EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS, to strength the faith and confidence of people in government, the City
Commission of the City of Opa-locka desires to put in place a requirement of attendance of ethics
training for all board members; and
WHEREAS,the City Commission of the City of Opa-locka desires that the Ethics Training
must be attended by all board members annually; and
WHEREAS, the board members will have a full year to complete the training during the
calendar year January through December.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF OPA-LOCKA,FLORIDA:
Section 1. The recitals to the preamble herein are incorporated by reference.
Section 2. The City Commission of the City of Opa-locka,Florida hereby requires that
all board members of City Boards shall attend ethics training annually,during the calendar year of
January through December.

Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
