HomeMy Public PortalAbout16076 Fabick Pump Station (P-444) Improvements (SKME-404E) (11888)ORDINANCE NO.16076 AN ORDINANCE, making an appropriation of Eight Hundred Thousand Dollars ($800,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for pump station improvements in Fabick Pump Station (P-444) Improvements (SKME-404E) (11888) in the City of Fenton, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 22246 with Gershenson Construction Co., Inc. for pump station improvements. WHEREAS, the bid for said sanitary sewer construction is Six Hundred Seventy- Nine Thousand Forty-Five Dollars and One Cent ($679,045.01) and the allowance for construction change orders and other project expenses is One Hundred Twenty Thousand Nine Hundred Fifty- Four Dollars and Ninety-Nine Cents ($120,954.99); and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Eight Hundred Thousand Dollars ($800,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for pump station improvements in Fabick Pump Station (P-444) Improvements (SKME-404E) (11888) in the City of Fenton, Missouri; said contract being comprised of such terms and conditions as have been approved by the Office of the General Counsel of the District. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 22246 with Gershenson Construction Co., Inc, as the lowest responsible bidder for pump station improvements in Fabick Pump Station (P-444) Improvements (SKME-404E) (11888) in the City of Fenton, Missouri, pursuant to bids received on the 15th day of February, 2023. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted on April 13, 2023 by the following vote: Ayes - A. Fehr, R. Wilson, G. Nicozisin, M. Evans, B. Watson and B. Wahby Nays - None Secretary-Treasurer
