RESOLUTION NO. 11-8309
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF OPA-LOCKA, FLORIDA,
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO MAKE A
DONATION OF TWO THOUSAND DOLLARS
($2,000.00) TO THE 2011 SPECIAL NEEDS TOY RUN
SPONSORED BY THE BLACK GLOBAL BIKERS
ASSOCIATION, INC., PAYABLE FROM ACCOUNT
NO. 19-519493; PROVIDING FOR INCORPORATION
OF RECITALS; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS, the Black Global Bikers Association, Inc., sponsors an annual toy run for
children in need; and
WHEREAS, this year the Black Global Bikers annual 2011 Special Needs Toy Run will
be held on Sunday December 18, 2011; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Opa-locka ("City Commission") has
determined that this event is a worthwhile cause; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission desires to partner with the Black Global Bikers
Association, in their sponsorship of the 2011 Special Needs Toy Run.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF OPA-LOCKA,FLORIDA:
Section 1. The recitals to the preamble herein are incorporated by reference.
Section 2. The City Commission of the City of Opa-locka hereby authorizes the City
Manager to make a donation of Two Thousand Dollars ($2,000.00) to the 2011 Special Needs
Toy Run sponsored by the Black Global Bikers Association, Inc., payable from Account 19-
519493.

Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 9th day of November,2011.
