Resolution No. 11-8311
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF OPA-LOCKA, FLORIDA, TO APPROVE THE
DESIGNATION OF TWO SEPARATE BANKING
INSTITUTIONS FOR THE DEPOSIT OF THE CITY'S FUNDS;
PROVIDING FOR INCORPORATION OF RECITALS;
PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS, the City of Opa-locka desires to designate two (2) separate institutions for
deposit of City funds; and
WHEREAS, it would be to the advantage of the City of Opa-locka to maintain banking
relationship with two separate banking institutions; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Opa-locka desires to have two (2)
designated institutions for the City Funds, 1) for the City Operating Funds, and 2) for the City
Reserve Funds.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF OPA-LOCKA, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The recitals to the preamble herein are incorporated by reference.
Section 2. The City Commission of the City of Opa-locka hereby approves the
designation of two separate banking institutions for the deposit of the City's funds, one for
Operating Funds, and another for Reserve Funds.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
