RESOLUTION ORDERING THE
ABATEMENT OF HAZARDOUS CONDITIONS
EXISTING AT 2835 ARDMORE AVENUE
WHEREAS, the building official of the City of Medina inspected the house
located at 2835 Ardmore Avenue on August 1, 1990, and has determined that it is a
hazardous building within the meaning of Minnesota Statutes Section 463.15, Subd.
3; and
WHEREAS, based on the investigation of the building inspector it is
recommended that the building be the subject of substantial repairs or razed;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the city council of the City of
Medina as follows:
1. The City finds that the building located at 2835 Ardmore Avenue legally
described as Lots 1 through 4, including adjacent 1/2 of vacated street,
Block 31, Independence Beach, Hennepin County, Minnesota is a hazardous
building within the meaning of Minnesota Statutes Section 463.15, Subd. 3.
2. An Order for Abatement substantially similar to the attached hereto and
incorporated by reference herein shall be served upon all required parties in
order to effectuate this resolution.
3. The city attorney is authorized to take all necessary steps necessary to
obtain the repair or razing of the building, either by court order or by
consent, as the circumstances may dictate.
