PROPERTY TAX CANCELLATION AND REFUND
WHEREAS, Block 130, lot 7 for property located at 37 Lincoln Avenue was assessed at
$191,200 in 2007, and
\VHEREAS, upon further review, the Tax Assessor has determined that the tax assessment
for 2007 should have a value of$132,500, and
WHEREAS, the original higher assessment as stated in the 2007 extended tax duplicate has
placed as additional tax burden on the taxpayer, and
WHEREAS, the Tax Collector is recommending that the 2007 taxes be cancelled
accordingly.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the Borough of
Carteret, County of Middlesex, New Jersey, that the Tax Collector cancels and refunds taxes
as follows:
