AN ORDINANCE, making a supplemental appropriation of Three Million Seven
Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($3,750,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used
for sanitaiy storage tunnel in Jefferson Barracks Tunnel (Lemay WWTP to Martigney PS) (11711)
in Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri, and authorizing the Executive Director and
Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to appropriate
additional funds to Contract No. 20489 with SAK Construction, LLC for sanitary storage tunnel.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 14599, adopted February 9, 2017, appropriated the
initial funding for and authorized Contract No. 20489; and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Three Million Seven Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars
($3,750,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for sanitary
storage tunnel in Jefferson Barracks Tunnel (Lemay WWTP to Martigney PS) (11711) in
Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropohtan St. Louis Sewer District to appropriate additional funds
to Contract No. 20489 with SAK Construction, LLC for sanitary storage tunnel in Jefferson
Barracks Tunnel (Lemay WWTP to Martigney PS) (11711) in Unincorporated St. Louis County,
Missouri; and said contract shall be comprised of such other terms as are approved by the Office
of the General Counsel of the District.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted on May 11, 2023 by the following vote:
Ayes - A. Feta-, R. Wilson, G. Nicozisin, B. Watson and B. Wahby
