HomeMy Public PortalAbout16094 Pump Station Manlift Replacement (13566)ORDINANCE NO.16Q94 AN ORDINANCE, making an appropriation of Four Million Seven Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($4,750,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for pump station improvements in Pump Station Manlift Replacement (13566) in the City of St. Louis and Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary- Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 22245 with Korte & Luitjohan Contractors, Inc. for pump station improvements. WHEREAS, the bid for said pump station improvements is Four Million Four Hundred Eighty-Nine Thousand Eighty-Five Dollars ($4,489,085.00) and the allowance for construction change orders and other project expenses is Two Hundred Sixty Thousand Nine Hundred Fifteen Dollars ($260,915.00); and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Four Million Seven Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($4,750,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for pump stations improvements in Pump Station Manlift Replacement (13566) in the City of St. Louis and Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri; said contract being comprised of such terms and conditions as have been approved by the Office of the General Counsel of the District. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 22245 with Korte & Luitjohan Contractors, Inc., as the lowest responsible bidder for pump station improvements in Pump Station Manlift Replacement (13566) in the City of St. Louis and Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri, pursuant to bids received on the 24th day of March, 2023. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted on May 11, 2023 by the following vote: Ayes - - A. Fehr, R. Wilson, G. Nicozisin, B. Watson and B. Wahby Nays - None Secretary-Treasurer
