AN ORDINANCE, making an appropriation of Four Hundred Seventy Thousand
Dollars ($470,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for sanitary sewer
construction in Roxburgh Dr Sanitary Relief (13662) in the City of Clayton, Missouri; and
authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St.
Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 22258 with Pace Construction Company, LLC for
sanitary sewer construction.
WHEREAS, the bid for said sanitary sewer construction is Three Hundred Seventy-
Seven Thousand Six Hundred Ninety-Eight Dollars ($377,698.00) and the allowance for
construction change orders and other project expenses is Ninety-Two Thousand Three Hundred
Two Dollars ($92,302.00); and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Four Hundred Seventy Thousand Dollars ($470,000.00)
is hereby appropriated from the Sanitaiy Replacement Fund for sanitaiy sewer construction in
Roxburgh Dr Sanitaiy Relief (13662) in the City of Clayton, Missouri; said contract being
comprised of such terms and conditions as have been approved by the Office of the General
Counsel of the District.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Conti act No. 22258
with Pace Construction Company, LLC, as the lowest responsible bidder for sanitary sewer
construction in Roxburgh Dr Sanitaiy Relief (13662) in the City of Clayton, Missouri, pursuant to
bids received on the 10th day of April, 2023.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted June 8, 2023 by the following vote:
Ayes - A. Fehr, R. Wilson, G. Nicozisin, M. Evans, and B. Wahby
Nays - none
