HomeMy Public PortalAbout16116 Infrastructure Repairs (Rehabilitation) (2023) Contract C (13720)ORDINANCE NQ.16116 AN ORDINANCE, making an appropriation of Two Million Two Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($2,250,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for combined sewer rehabilitation in Infrastructure Repairs (Rehabilitation) (2023) Contract C (13720) in the City of St. Louis, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 22261 with SAK Construction, LLC for combined sewer rehabilitation. WHEREAS, the bid for said combined sewer rehabilitation is Two Million One Hundred Ten Thousand Two Hundred Ninety Dollars ($2,110,290.00) and the allowance for construction change orders and other project expenses is One Hundred Thirty-Nine Thousand Seven Hundred Ten Dollars ($139,710.00); and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Two Million Two Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($2,250,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for combined sewer rehabilitation in Infrastructure Repairs (Rehabilitation) (2023) Contract C (13720) in the City of St. Louis, Missouri; said contract being comprised of such terms and conditions as have been approved by the Office of the General Counsel of the District. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 22261 with SAK Construction, LLC, as the lowest responsible bidder for combined sewer rehabilitation in Infrastructure Repairs (Rehabilitation) (2023) Contract C (13720) in the City of St. Louis, Missouri, pursuant to bids received on the 12th day of April, 2023. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted June 8, 2023 by the following vote: Ayes - A. Fehr, R. Wilson, G. Nicozisin, M. Evans, and B. Wahby Nays - none Secretary-Treasurer
