AN ORDINANCE, making a supplemental appropriation of Two Million Two
Hundred Thousand Dollars ($2,200,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for
sanitary sewer construction in Price to Pioneer Sanitaiy Relief (12368) in the Cities of Olivette
and Overland, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf
of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to appropriate additional funds to Contract No. 22161
with Bates Utility Company, Inc for sanitary sewer construction.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 15901, adopted June 9, 2022, appropriated the initial
funding for and authorized Contract No. 22161; and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Two Million Two Hundred Thousand Dollars
($2,200,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitaiy Replacement Fund to be used for sanitaiy
sewer construction in Price to Pioneer Sanitaiy Relief (12368) in the Cities of Olivette and
Overland, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to appropriate additional funds
to Contract No. 22161 with Bates Utility Company, Inc. for sanitaiy sewer construction in Price
to Pioneer Sanitaiy Relief (12368) in the Cities of Olivette and Overland, Missouri; and said
contract shall be comprised of such other terms and conditions as are approved by the Office of
the General Counsel of the District.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted June 8, 2023 by the following vote:
Ayes - A. Fehr, R. Wilson, G. Nicozisin, M. Evans, and B. Wahby
