HomeMy Public PortalAbout16147 St. Joachim's Sanitary Relief (St. Genevieve Ln to Lynros Dr) (12214)ORDINANCE NO. 16147 AN ORDINANCE, making an appropriation of Two Million Five Hundred Thousand Dollars ($2,500,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for sanitary sewer construction in St. Joachim’s Sanitary Relief (St. Genevieve Ln to Lynros Dr) (12214) in the City of St. Ann, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 52002 with Pace Construction Company, LLC for sanitary sewer construction. WHEREAS, the bid for said sanitary sewer construction is Two Million Two Hundred Eighty-Five Thousand Eight Hundred Four Dollars ($2,285,804.00) and the allowance for construction change orders and other project expenses is Two Hundred Fourteen Thousand One Hundred Ninety-Six Dollars ($214,196.00); and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Two Million Five Hundred Thousand Dollars ($2,500,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for sanitary sewer construction in St. Joachim’s Sanitary Relief (St. Genevieve Ln to Lynros Dr) (12214) in the City of St. Ann, Missouri; said contract being comprised of such terms and conditions as have been approved by the Office of the General Counsel of the District. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 52002 with Pace Construction Company, LLC, as the lowest responsible bidder for sanitary sewer construction in St. Joachim’s Sanitary Relief (St. Genevieve Ln to Lynros Dr) (12214) in the City of St. Ann, Missouri, pursuant to bids received on the 16th day of May, 2023. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted on July 13, 2023, by the following vote: Ayes - A. Fehr, R. Wilson, G. Nicozisin, M. Evans and B. Watson Nays - None Secretary-Treasurer
