Transcript: “Yes, good morning. I have made one other comment on this earlier in the season
but I'd like to reiterate it. This rate increase stuff, I know we have to have updates, our system is
so old. However, when you are a senior citizen on a fixed income as I am, rate increases are not
friendly if you know if you did it within inflation times to make it to that cost of living. That's fine,
but just bring it up and I'm now paying $49.66 . I know in addition to what my monthly income
will be, but if we keep going up, it's going to be harder and harder. And I just find that there
should be some allowances forthose of us who are on the fixed incomes as senior citizens. We
want to stay in our homes. But all of these rate hikes that the utility keep getting or making it
harder and harder for us to do so. And so I've heard most of my friends who are in my age
range are saying the same thing. There has to be I realize you need the money to update but
surely it doesn't always have to be done on the back of the customers. Thank you for listening to
me. And I hope that there will be some amicable conclusion to all of this. I know that there will
have to be a rate hike but could it be not so great? Thank you so much. Have a wonderful day.
Bye.”
