Waterford Dr to Fox Run Dr) (12108)ORDI NANCE NO. 16154 AN ORDINANCE, making an appropriation of Three Hundred Seventy Thousand Dollars ($370,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for sanitary sewer construction in Burning Tree Infrastructure Repair (N. Waterford Dr to Fox Run Dr) (12108) in the City of Florissant, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 52010 with TaylorMade Construction for sanitary sewer construction. WHEREAS, the bid for said sanitary sewer construction is Two Hundred Ninety- Two Thousand Eight Hundred Seventy-Eight Dollars ($292,878.00) and the allowance for construction change orders and other project expenses is Seventy-Seven Thousand One Hundred Twenty-Two Dollars ($77,122.00); and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Three Hundred Seventy Thousand Dollars ($370,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for sanitary sewer construction in Burning Tree Infrastructure Repair (N. Waterford Dr to Fox Run Dr) (12108) in the City of Florissant, Missouri; said contract being comprised of such terms and conditions as have been approved by the Office of the General Counsel of the District. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 52010 with TaylorMade Construction, as the lowest responsible bidder for sanitary sewer construction in Burning Tree Infrastructure Repair (N. Waterford Dr to Fox Run Dr) (12108) in the City of Florissant, Missouri, pursuant to bids received on the 21st day of June, 2023. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted August 10, 2023
