AN ORDINANCE, making a supplemental appropriation of One Million Two
Hundred Thousand Dollars ($1,200,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for
design and engineering during construction phase services in Mississippi Floodwall ORS Pump
Stations Rehabilitation (12483) in the City of St. Louis, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive
Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to amend
Contract No. 20476 with Black & Veatch Corporation for design and engineering during
construction phase services.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 14520, adopted October 13, 2016, appropriated the
initial funding for and authorized Contract No. 20476; and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of One Million Two Hundred Thousand Dollars
($1,200,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for design
and engineering during construction phase services in Mississippi Floodwall ORS Pump Stations
Rehabilitation(12483) in the City of St. Louis, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to amend Contract No. 20476
with Black & Veatch Corporation for design and engineering during construction phase services
in Mississippi Floodwall ORS Pump Stations Rehabilitation (12483) in the City of St. Louis,
Missouri; and said contract shall be comprised of such other terms and conditions as are approved
by the Office of the General Counsel of the District.
