HomeMy Public PortalAbout16174 CCTV Inspection and Physical Inspection of Sewers (2023) (12804)ORDI NANCE NO. 16174 AN ORDINANCE, making a supplemental appropriation of Three Million Dollars ($3,000,000.00) from the General Fund to be used for CCTV inspection and physical inspection of sewers and sewer cleaning in CCTV Inspection and Physical Inspection of Sewers (2023) (12804) throughout the Metropolitan Sewer District service area; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to appropriate additional funds to Contract No. 22187 with Ace Pipe Cleaning, Inc. for CCTV inspection and physical inspection of sewers and sewer cleaning. WHEREAS, said contract provided for an initial term of one (1) year with two (2) additional one-year renewal terms at the option of the District; and WHEREAS, The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District desires to exercise its first (1st) of the two (2) option years to renew said contract for an additional one-year term. WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 15948, adopted August 11, 2022, appropriated the initial funding for and authorized Contract No. 22187; WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Three Million Dollars ($3,000,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the General Fund to be used for CCTV inspection and physical inspection of sewers and sewer cleaning in CCTV Inspection and Physical Inspection of Sewers (2023) (12804) throughout the Metropolitan Sewer District service area. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to exercise the District’s first one-year option renewal term with Ace Pipe Cleaning, Inc., whereby Ace Pipe Cleaning, Inc. will provide CCTV inspection and physical inspection of sewers and sewers cleaning, and shall be comprised of such other terms and conditions as are approved by the Office of the General Counsel of the District. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted August 10, 2023
