HomeMy Public PortalAbout16194 Flow Metering and Monitoring (2022) (12801)OR DINANC E NO. 16194 AN ORDINANCE, making a supplemental appropriation of Two Million Five Hundred Thousand Dollars ($2,500,000.00) from the General Fund to be used for flow meter and monitoring in Flow Metering and Monitoring (2022) (12801) District-wide; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to appropriate funds to Contract No. 22069 with ADS Environmental Services for flow meter and monitoring. WHEREAS, said contract provided for an initial term of one (1) year with four (4) additional one-year renewal terms at the option of the District; and WHEREAS, The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District desires to exercise its second (2nd) of the four (4) option years to renew said contract for an additional one-year term. WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 15741, adopted September 9, 2021, appropriated the initial funding for and authorized Contract No. 22069; and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Two Million Five Hundred Thousand Dollars ($2,500,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the General Fund to be used for flow meter and monitoring in Flow Metering and Monitoring (2022) (12801) District-wide. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to exercise the District’s second one-year option renewal term with ADS Environmental Services, whereby ADS Environmental Services will provide sewer flow meter data for a total fee not to exceed Two Million Five Hundred Thousand Dollars ($2,500,000.00), and shall be comprised of such other terms and conditions as are approved by the Office of the General Counsel of the District. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted September 14, 2023.
