HomeMy Public PortalAbout16195 Critical Infrastructure Assessment and Asset Investigation (2023) (12908)OR DINANC E NO. 16195 AN ORDINANCE, making a supplemental appropriation of One Million Seven Hundred Thousand Dollars ($1,700,000.00) from the General Fund to be used for asset investigations & assessment of sewer systems in Critical Infrastructure Assessment and Asset Investigation (2023) (12908) throughout the Metropolitan Sewer District Service Area; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to appropriate additional funds to Contract No. 22201 with TREKK Design Group, LLC for asset investigations & assessment of sewer systems. WHEREAS, said contract provided for an initial term of one (1) year with two (2) additional one-year renewal terms at the option of the District; and WHEREAS, The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District desires to exercise its first (1st) of the two (2) option years to renew said contract for an additional one-year term. WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 15972, adopted September 8, 2022, appropriated the initial funding for and authorized Contract No. 22201; and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of One Million Seven Hundred Thousand Dollars ($1,700,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the General Fund to be used for asset investigations & assessment of sewer systems in Critical Infrastructure Assessment and Asset Investigation (2023) (12908) throughout Metropolitan Sewer District Service Area. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to exercise the District’s first one-year option renewal term with TREKK Design Group, LLC, whereby TREKK Design Group will provide investigative data that will determine sewer conditions and system defects for a total fee not to exceed One Million Seven Hundred Thousand Dollars ($1,700,000.00), and shall be comprised of such other terms and conditions as are approved by the Office of the General Counsel of the District. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted September 14, 2023.
