AN ORDINANCE, making a supplemental appropriation of Fifty Thousand
($50,000.00) from the Operations, Maintenance, Construction, and Improvement Fund of Gravois
Creek to be used for design in Gravois Creek OMCI Stormwater Design (2023) (13714) in the
Cities of Crestwood, Kirkwood, and Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri; and authorizing
the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District to amend Contract No. 22229 with Oates Associates, Inc. for design.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 16034, adopted December 8, 2022, appropriated the
initial funding for and authorized Contract No. 22229; and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Fifty Thousand Dollars ($50,000.00) is hereby
appropriated from the Operations, Maintenance, Construction, and Improvement Fund of Gravois
Creek for design in Gravois Creek OMCI Stormwater Design (2023) (13714) in the Cities of
Crestwood, Kirkwood, and Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri; said contract being
comprised of such terms and conditions as have been approved by the Office of the General
Counsel of the District.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to amend Contract No. 22229
with Oates Associates, Inc., for design in Gravois Creek OMCI Stormwater Design (2023) (13714)
in the Cities of Crestwood, Kirkwood, and Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted September 14, 2023.
