AN ORDINANCE, making an appropriation of Six Hundred Twenty-Five
Thousand Dollars ($625,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for pump station
improvements in Mississippi Floodwall ORS Pump Stations – Ladder Replacements (13679) in
the City of St. Louis, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on
behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 53001 with Corrigan
Company for pump station improvements.
WHEREAS, the bid for said sanitary sewer construction is Five Hundred Forty-
Eight Thousand Dollars ($548,000.00) and the allowance for construction change orders and other
project expenses is Seventy-Seven Thousand Dollars ($77,000.00); and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Six Hundred Twenty-Five Thousand Dollars
($625,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for pump station
improvements in Mississippi Floodwall ORS Pump Stations – Ladder Replacements (13679) in
the City of St. Louis, Missouri; said contract being comprised of such terms and conditions as have
been approved by the Office of the General Counsel of the District.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 53001
with Corrigan Company, as the lowest responsible bidder for pump station improvements in
Mississippi Floodwall ORS Pump Stations – Ladder Replacements (13679) in the City of St.
Louis, Missouri, pursuant to bids received on the 12th day of July, 2023.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted September 14, 2023.
