HomeMy Public PortalAbout16216 Fairway Ct 3901 Bank Stabilization (10895)O R D I N A N C E NO. 16216 AN ORDINANCE, making an appropriation of Four Hundred Eighty Thousand Dollars ($480,000.00) from the Operations, Maintenance, Construction, and Improvement Fund of Coldwater Creek to be used for channel stabilization in Fairway Ct 3901 Bank Stabilization (10895) in the City of St. Ann, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary- Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 53015 with Wehmeyer Farms, Inc. for channel stabilization. WHEREAS, the bid for said channel stabilization is Four Hundred Thirty-One Thousand One Hundred Sixty-One Dollars and Eight Cents ($431,161.08) and the allowance for construction change orders and other project expenses is Forty-Eight Thousand Eight Hundred Thirty-Eight Dollars and Ninety-Two Cents ($48,838.92); and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Four Hundred Eighty Thousand Dollars ($480,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operations, Maintenance, Construction, and Improvement Fund of Coldwater Creek for channel stabilization in Fairway Ct 3901 Bank Stabilization (10895) in the City of St. Ann, Missouri; said contract being comprised of such terms and conditions as have been approved by the Office of the General Counsel of the District. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 53015 with Wehmeyer Farms, Inc., as the lowest responsible bidder for channel stabilization in Fairway Ct 3901 Bank Stabilization (10895) in the City of St. Ann, Missouri, pursuant to bids received on the 22nd day of August, 2023. The foregoing Ordinance was Adopted October 12, 2023.
