AN ORDINANCE, making a supplemental appropriation of Seventy-Five
Thousand Dollars ($75,000.00) from the Operations, Maintenance, Construction and Improvement
Fund of Deer Creek to be used for storm sewer construction in Dearborn Dr Storm Sewer (11205)
in the City of Warson Woods, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-
Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to appropriate additional funds
to Contract No. 22253 with Gershenson Construction Co., Inc. for storm sewer construction.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 16096, adopted May 11, 2023, appropriated the initial
funding for and authorized Contract No. 22253; and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Seventy-Five Thousand Dollars ($75,000.00) is hereby
appropriated from the Operations, Maintenance, Construction, and Improvement Fund of Deer
Creek to be used for storm sewer construction in Dearborn Dr Storm Sewer (11205) in the City of
Warson Woods, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to appropriate additional funds
to Contract No. 22253 with Gershenson Construction Co., Inc., for storm sewer construction in
Dearborn Dr Storm Sewer (11205) in the City of Warson Woods, Missouri; and said contract shall
be comprised of such other terms and conditions as are approved by the Office of the General
Counsel of the District.
The foregoing Ordinance was Adopted October 12, 2023.
