AN ORDINANCE, making an appropriation of Eight Hundred Seventy-Five
Thousand Dollars ($875,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for sanitary sewer
construction in Cross Timbers #705 Sanitary Replacement (13163) in the City of Town & Country,
Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 53007 with Keeley Construction
Group, Inc. for sanitary sewer construction.
WHEREAS, the bid for said sanitary sewer construction is Six Hundred Ninety-
Three Thousand Six Hundred Five Dollars and Seventy-Four Cents ($693,605.74) and the
allowance for construction change orders and other project expenses is One Hundred Eighty-One
Thousand Three Hundred Ninety-Four Dollars and Twenty-Six Cents ($181,394.26); and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Eight Hundred Seventy-Five Thousand Dollars
($875,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for sanitary sewer
construction in Cross Timbers #705 Sanitary Replacement (13163) in the City of Town & Country,
Missouri; said contract being comprised of such terms and conditions as have been approved by
the Office of the General Counsel of the District.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 53007
with Keeley Construction Group, Inc., as the lowest responsible bidder for sanitary sewer
construction in Cross Timbers #705 Sanitary Replacement (13163) in the City of Town & Country,
Missouri, pursuant to bids received on the 25th day of July, 2023.
The foregoing Ordinance was Adopted October 12, 2023.
