AUTHORIZING A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES CONTRACT
WITH CME ASSOCIATES, RE: PROFESSIONAL
ENGINEERING SERVICES
\VHEREAS, the Borough of Carteret is in need of professional engineering
services for Carteret Avenue intersection park improvements; and
\VHEREAS, CME Associates, 1460 Route 9 South. Howell, New Jersey 07731,
possesses the requisite experience and expertise to provide said services; and
.WHEREAS, CME Associates has submitted a proposal to provide said services
which are specifically for the final park improvement design phase and the
construction services phase at a total cost not to exceed $6,100.00; and
\VHEREAS, the Mayor and the Council have reviewed said proposal; and
\VHEREAS, the Chief Financial Officer has certified that funds are or will be
available for said purpo~e.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLYED hy the Mayor and the Council of the
Borough ofCarteret, County of Middlesex, State of New Jersey, as follows:
1. The proposal from CME Associates for professional
engineering services for Carteret A venue intersection park
improvements, at a total cost not to exceed $6,100.00 is hereby
approved.
2. This action is approved as an award of a professional services
contract pursuant to N.J.S.A 40A:11-5(1)(a) awarded pursuant
to the Borough's Fair and Open Process as authorized by law.
3. A copy of this Resolution be forwarded to the Borough's
Purchasing Department and CME Associates.
