RESOLUTION NO. 98-08
A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF TRUCKEE
AMENDING AND APPROVING THE PROJECTS PROPOSED FOR INCLUSION IN
THE NEVADA COUNTY TRANSPORTATION COMMISSION'S
1998/99 OVERALL WORK PROGRAM.
WHEREAS, On April 7, 1994 the Town Council of the Town of Truckee adopted
Resolution No. 94-15, which authorized the Mayor to execute a Memorandum of Understanding on
the behalf of the Town of Truckee with the Nevada County Transportation Commission relating to
regional transportation plamting; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with the above referenced Memorandum of Understanding, the
Nevada County Transportation Commission has submitted the projects to be included in its 1998/99
Overall Work Program for the review and approval of the Town Council of the Town of Truckee.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE
TOWN OF TRUCKEE, as follows:
1. That the Town Council acknowledges its approval of the projects proposed for inclusion
in the 1998/99 Overall Work Program.
2. That the Town Council recommends that WORK ELEMENT 3 - SPECIAL STUDIES,
Project 3.3 - Tahoe Donner Third Access Alignment Study, receive the highest priority.
3. That an update of the FHWA Designation Classification Map be added to the Work
Program.
The foregoing Resolution was introduced at a Regular Meeting of the Town Council of the Town
of Truckee, held on the 5th day of March, 1998, by Councilmember Drake who moved its adoption,
which motion being duly seconded by Councilmember Schneider was upon roll call carried and the
Resolution adopted by the following vote:

Councilmembers Drake, McCormack, Schneider, Susman & Mayor Florian
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
